About Jewett Farms & Company

Est. 1999. Jewett Farms & Co was founded in 1999 with the vision of establishing a cabinet shop that would celebrate the traditional woodworking art and craft of New England. Today, we are proud to design and build some of the finest cabinetry and furniture pieces in the northeast.

We believe in true craftsmanship. Our focus is on furniture-grade period kitchen cabinetry, custom designed and built for each client and the unique homes they live in. We also create built-in cabinetry, custom bathroom vanities, and stand alone furniture pieces for the entire home. Every piece we build is handled exclusively by a team of cabinetmakers who follow the project from beginning to end. We take pride in crafting every component of our cabinetry, from doors and drawers to moldings and paneling.

Our reputation precedes us. Our craftsmanship is evident in the quality of our work, but we also pride ourselves on our lasting relationships with our clients. We firmly believe in the importance of seamlessly integrating our design and craft with our clients’ wants, needs and the style of their homes. Our goal has been to create a cabinet shop that not only provides unwavering New England craftsmanship and original designs, but top notch customer service as well.  We are consistently professional, friendly and easy to work with, and our standards are high because we believe our clients deserve it.

Our goal is to design and build pieces that will last a lifetime and beyond.  Much of the design, skill and craftsmanship that built New England has been lost in our modern era of assembly line, computer driven manufacturing, outsourced cabinetry and parts – this has meant an erosion of the true meaning of “custom cabinetry.”  We strive to reverse this trend by continuing to perfect our craft and by developing creative ways to move forward as cabinetmakers in the economy of today and tomorrow.

We love what we do. Our passion is evident in the designs we create, the projects we work on, the cabinetry we build, and foremost the relationships we build with our clients. And, since our name is all we truly own, we firmly stand behind it.
